Al-Munāfiqūn
This chapter describes the hypocrites. It characterizes them with severe and intense enmity (towards the Muslim faith) and stigmatizes them for that. It instructs the Prophet to guard against them and counsels the believers to guard against hypocritical characteristics and qualities so that they may not fall into its trap, and so that it may not drag them to hellfire. This chapter is of Medinan provenance.
