Arabic terms and names have been transliterated according to the International Journal of Middle East Studies (IJMES); see the Arabic Transliteration Key.

For ease of reading, glyphs and traditional honorifics such as “peace be upon him” or (s.a.w.) which are commonly used as a gesture of respect after the name of the Prophet Muhammad, the Imams, or other sacred figures have been omitted from this text. No disrespect is intended, and may God’s peace and blessings be upon them all!
