Prophethood: a concept map
ʿAllāmah Ṭabāṭabāʾī builds his account of prophethood on 2:213: human beings, social by nature, fall into disputes that their own nature cannot settle, so God sends prophets with revelation and law. This map follows him: what prophethood is, why it is needed, how God speaks to the prophets, the difference between a prophet and a messenger, how religion was perfected and sealed, and the qualities of those He sends. Each point opens his own words in the commentary.
